Dr. Winson Yung is a graduate of the University of Sydney, where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) postgraduate degree. He also holds a Bachelor of Science (Biomedical Science) from the University of Western Australia.
Dr. Yung has worked in the public healthcare sector in Sydney, caring for patients of all ages and backgrounds. His clinical experience spans a wide range of treatments, including root canal therapy, gum treatment, crowns and dentures, children’s dentistry, oral surgery, and oral medicine. He takes pride in providing gentle, thorough care and believes that a healthy smile plays an important role in one’s overall confidence and wellbeing.
Before becoming a dentist, Dr. Yung worked as a flight attendant, where he developed a calm and friendly approach with strong awareness of people’s comfort and needs. Having once felt anxious about dental visits himself, he understands how patients may feel and makes a conscious effort to listen, reassure, and create a relaxed experience at every appointment.
Dr. Yung is a member of the Singapore Dental Association, the Australian Dental Association, and the College of General Dental Practitioners Singapore. He is committed to lifelong learning and continually updates his knowledge to provide safe and evidence-based dental care.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Yung enjoys keeping active in the gym, playing soccer, and reading. He also loves going on long walks with his dog, spending time with loved ones, and discovering good makan places around Singapore.
