Dental Implant

Dental Implants are used to replace the root of the missing tooth, serving as the support for your new tooth (crown) or teeth (bridge – a row of crowns). In the case where all teeth are missing, implants may be used as support for full dentures.

Dental implants are done by surgically inserting a titanium screw into the jaw bone. Over time, the implant and jaw bone fuse, allowing the implant to function as mentioned above. The dental implant will be placed under local anesthesia, which is delivered by injection.

Our dentists conduct a comprehensive examination, diagnosis, and 3D CBCT scans  to assess if you are suitable for dental implants. Factors such as bone resorption of the jaws, long term medication and a complex medical history may affect the long term success of implant placement.
