Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening can be used to remove stains or discolouration on teeth. This may be caused due to diet and lifestyle habits such as poor oral hygiene or smoking. We offer both chairside whitening and take-home whitening.

Chairside whitening is completed at the dental clinic, with effects visibly observed usually after an hour of treatment. Glee! Dental Surgery is proud to use the Zoom! Whitening In-office light by Phillips.

Take-home teeth whitening uses a lower concentration of the whitening agent. The kit consists of a custom-made tray to contain the whitening gel. The tray has to be worn for one to four hours each day for one to two weeks. ​
The effects and final outcome of teeth whitening treatment vary based on type of treatment and your lifestyle choices. Consumption of acidic foods such as coffee or smoking may reduce the long-term efficacy of the treatment.
