Dr Zhang Junhao obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree from National University of Singapore (NUS). He was the General Secretary in NUS Dental Club for a year.
After graduation, he served as the Dental Officer-in-Charge at Tampines Singhealth Polyclinic, where he provided primary care dentistry and performed administrative roles. Thereafter, he did various postings in National Dental Center Singapore (NDCS) – namely, the Geriatric and Special Care Dentistry Clinic, Endodontics, Removable Prosthodontics, Urgent Care Clinic, as well as the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic in Changi General Hospital (CGH). In these postings, he treated the geriatric and medically compromised patients, as well as patients requiring root canal treatments, dentures, and acute management for pain, infection and dental trauma, among other treatments. He was awarded the Singapore Health Quality Service Award (Silver) in 2024.
Dr Zhang is a member of the Singapore Dental Association, and believes in lifelong learning to hone his skills. He practices meticulous examination and diagnosis of patients’ oral conditions to diagnose and manage dental disease. He treats each patient with respect and love, and strives to explain treatment options clearly and patiently, to empower them to make an informed decision for their oral health.
Outside of dentistry, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, being in nature, and playing musical instruments (albeit amateurishly).
